Co-guía | La Habitación del Lago

Stephanie joined our Harmony community this year as the Toddler Lead Guide in the Pond classroom. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Services from Warner Pacific University (2014) and discovered the Montessori philosophy during her studies. She was drawn to the methods that focus on a child-centered approach, early childhood education that emphasizes hands-on learning, independence, and respect for the child’s natural psychological development. Stephanie earned her Montessori Infant and Toddler Credential from the American Montessori Society in June 2020. With over twelve years of experience working in Montessori education and various other childcare settings, Stephanie has developed a deep passion for guiding children through their early development. She believes in creating environments where children are free to explore their unique strengths and cultivate a lifelong love of learning. Fluent in Spanish and with roots in Nicaragua, she also enjoys volunteering with neurodivergent children through the Young Life Capernaum program. In her free time, she loves traveling, singing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
