Harmony Montessori School is a community of parents, staff, and board members who share a common vision of a quality education being attainable to all. Currently our thriving school community has 90 students enrolled in our preschool, kindergarten, and elementary programs. Harmony Montessori is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and is dedicated to providing affordable education to a culturally and socio-economically diverse community of families; something few Montessori schools are able to do.
This year, Harmony Montessori School is celebrating our 20th Anniversary. Our volunteer parent committee is planning the Harmony 20th Anniversary Auction and Gala as our sole fundraising source for our financial aid and scholarship programs. Without these allocated funds many children and families wouldn’t be able to be part of our community. Few small schools reach out into the community in this way, and it’s only because of the support from our larger community that we are able to do so. This is a year of great change for Harmony Montessori. In addition to now offering an elementary classroom beyond our Pre-k and Kindergarten, we will also be moving into a larger facility to accommodate our growth.
Our auction will be held on March 15, 2014, and much time and care will be spent assuring each donation and affiliated source will be highly visible to 200+ guests. Throughout the rest of the year many families make a pointed effort to give back by frequently supporting those who have donated to us.
