Extended Day: The 6.5-hour schedule is for kindergartners, 5 years old by Sept. 1, with a second work cycle with their teacher in the afternoons. This schedule also applies to younger children who stay until at least 3:00 pm, for naps, rest, or continuing Montessori activities.
4-Day Enrollment Option: Although we always recommend 5 days, parents may enroll for 4 days a week, and may request Monday or Friday as their child’s day off. A Friday is usually preferred. Our Head of school ultimately decides the availability of these schedules, and the particular day off, depending upon enrollment realities.
Open Hours: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm. We offer two basic alternatives for full-day care:
8-Hour Tuition Level: This level of tuition is for the family whose child will regularly need 1.5 hours of extra care, before 8:30 am and/or after 3:00 pm.
Flexible Extra Hours: Hours before and/or after a child’s regular tuition level and schedule are billed at $6.00 an hour. Parents pay only for the extra time their child uses.
Annual Tuition: Divided into 10 installments, paid from August through May. We offer a 3% discount for annual tuition paid in full by September, and a 10% sibling discount if two children from a family are enrolled at once.
Application Fee and Tuition Deposit: Application fee is $100 for the first child in a family, and $50 for subsequent children. A tuition deposit of $200 is also due with enrollment; this deposit will be applied to the first monthly tuition payment in August. Both are non-refundable.
One-time yearly snack fee: $75 for 3.5 and 4.5 hour students, $100 for full day students.
One-time yearly materials fee: $30 for all students.
Both fees will be billed in September.
