Process and Policies

Please contact us to learn more about Harmony Montessori School. We encourage you to visit our school and see our program. Montessori schools share a common philosophy and materials, but each school is unique. First-hand observation is invaluable in making the decision about the right school for your child.

Beginning in late summer, open houses will be held regularly. Open houses are designed to help you learn more about the principles of Montessori education and the details of our program. You will have the opportunity to meet our staff and see our facility. Please contact us to reserve a place.

If you are interested in touring Harmony before the open houses begin, please call and our Head of School or Office Manager will be happy to give you a tour, arrange a classroom observation, and answer any questions.

If you decide that Harmony is right for you, please print out and complete our application (located on the right side of this page).

An application is submitted with a payment of $300: this includes a $100 application fee and a $200 tuition deposit, which will be applied to the first monthly tuition payment. Both are non-refundable. There is a $50 fee for each additional child. Tuition is an annual amount, divided into ten monthly payments from August through May. Mid-year enrollments are pro-rated. Next school year’s tuition is set by the Board of Trustees in March.

When all available openings are filled, a waiting list is created because unexpected withdrawals do happen. When there are families on the waiting list, we cannot “hold” places for children. Monthly tuition payments are required to reserve a chlid’s space until they are ready to begin.
